Built for Street Drag racing by Garage Yawata(Street Special) based out of Nagoya Japan, for one of their customers. Garage Yawata(Street Special) are a very known tuning company that specialise in Drag and circuit racing and have many cars that compete in many Drag Tournaments across Japan.
Established in 1985 you can be assured that they know what they're doing!
Built using a formula that works great without over complicating the set up meaning you have a R32 GTR that has the power but also the driveability on the streets, no jerkiness or harsh driving characteristics, a real testament to how this has been built and tuned by Garage Yawata.
Running 1.7 bar(Conservative) on a T88 this 650bhp R32 GTR pulls very hard through all gears with that classic punch of power that comes with these Japanese era Turbos.
The Gearbox has been upgraded with the OS-Giken gear set and centre plate to hold the power.
The OS-Giken Gears are renowned for being a great upgrade for higher HP skylines that still have the friendly street driving characteristics.
The chassis has been given a wide range of upgrades, from the 6 point roll cage to fully adjustable arms, HICAS Lockout, Tein coilovers and front tension rods you have the option to get the geometry to suit your driving style be it street, track or Drag.
Although Stripped out the interior is still very clean and a nice place to be when driving this car, the dash is still in fantastic condition for a 30 year old car showing no signs of the typical dash bubbling that is very common.
Considering the spec of this GTR the condition throughout is great from the exterior, interior, engine bay, boot and underside the car really has been looked after and cherished with no sign of rust that is so common on the 32s let alone any 30 year old car.
Nothing beats the classic styling of the R32 GTR with the only exterior mod being the Garage Yanack Blister(OEM Style) 10MM rear fenders, fitted to a really high standard making the styling flow seamlessly without being in your face keeping in tune with the R32 GTR looks but with a added extra sense of presence.
